Popular singer Matthew Mackenzie has his life all mapped out. Successful, single, rich, powerful, he is in control. All he needs at the moment is to find Jennifer Van Dyke, his co-star and girlfriend from the classic children’s show Castle Clubhouse, for her help with a project. But she seems to have vanished into thin air.

There are worse things in life than to be hiding out in Queens, New York, working three jobs to make ends meet. Formally the darling of Broadway, Jennifer’s new life, though exhausting, has a couple of perks. Both with blue eyes. All she wants now is to be left alone.

When Matt finds Jennifer, he’s stunned to see the terror in her eyes and determines to help her.

But things get worse when Jennifer’s domineering father issues an ultimatum to get Jennifer out of her situation and Matt can’t help but intervene, with drastic consequences.
